April Art

My son completed this painting that he had been working on for several weeks. Even though it was copied from a painting chosen by his art teacher, it is a beautiful piece. The teacher was demanding in her expectations and many changes were made before this result was obtained. Like life, painting is a struggle. Like life, struggles are always worth it when you feel a sense of satisfaction and pride that you have come away from the experience with more gains than pain.

On my part, I still have not found the peace of mind to paint without so many interruptions in life. So I turned to digitally manipulating images I have recorded of a single Bird's Nest Fern. The write-up of this experience is in my blog on flowers. It was enjoyable to create this collage for the short time that it took compared with painting. I should do more of these.
